The Preliminary Diagnosis covers environmental and social aspects of the hotel's operations and management. The aspects examined are the following:

Instructions for completing the questionnaire

Please provide as much information as possible that you believe is relevant to each question.
You can also provide us with copies of any documents of policies, plans, published articles, etc, that could give us more information on your efforts. Explain your future plans towards more sustainable practices, what you plan to do and the corresponding time frame. Feel free to make any additional comments on aspects that may not be included in the questionnaire.

Specifically, at each question:

1. In the first field explain the actions, policies, systems and processes that are currently implemented. Indicate to what extent and scale these actions have been implemented, i.e. whether the practice is well-established and covers all the facility, or if they have not yet been finalised, are not yet fully implemented to all relevant areas or facilities, or are taken under some specific circumstances

2. Not applicable: When actions or activities do not apply to you, please take a moment to explain why this practice is considered to not apply to the hotel; i.e. if this aspect does not apply to the operations or facilities of the hotel, if it is proven to not be cost-effective or practical, if the hotel is prevented from performing the function or action, for reasons such as legal restrictions, no access, public health requirements, franchise requirements, etc.

3. No activity / Future plans: Indicate if there is a reason for no activity in an area, or you may comment if it is inventoried or planned to be implemented within the predicted timeframe.
